Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute in Oklahoma City is seeking a day shift, full-time Certified Cancer Registrar to join our data-driven team.

You will collect and abstract cancer data, codes, and analyze trends to support quality reporting and research. You will coordinate cancer conferences and prepare statistics for national and state registries, while upholding patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collects, abstracts, codes and analyzes cancer data and submits it to the appropriate software.
• Conducts patient care evaluations and performance improvement studies (PCE/PIP).
• Prepares statistics for reports and cancer committees per ACOS guidelines.
• Coordinates physician-led cancer conferences and committee preparation.
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Collects, abstracts, codes and analyzes data on patients identified with a diagnosis and/or treated malignancy (cancer) and submits data into the appropriate software program. Conducts patient care evaluations, and performance improvement studies (PCE/PIP). Prepares statistical data for reports/graphic presentations for cancer related committees, research, medical staff requests, the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer and/or the State of Oklahoma Registry requests. Coordinates physician‑led cancer conferences and cancer committee preparation. Responsible for meeting standards as outlined in ACOS Commission on Cancer Program Manual. Performs other duties as assigned. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
