Job summary

Lindenwood University is seeking a Certified Officer for Public Safety and Security to patrol the St. Charles campus, monitor security systems, report incidents and enforce university policies.

This full-time role requires preparedness to respond to emergencies and maintain safety for students, staff and visitors. • Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Law enforcement or prior military experience preferred.

• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong communication, judgment and judgment under pressure anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and monitor security systems to maintain a safe environment.
• Report crimes and enforce university policies.
• Provide public assistance including lockout services and first aid.
• Prepare incident/accident reports with detailed observations.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with campus authorities.
