Job summary

AutoNation Inc. is hiring a Certified Technician in Colorado to perform vehicle repair and maintenance with precision and in line with dealer and factory standards. You will collaborate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production, diagnose issues, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Training and advancement opportunities are available across departments. Applicants should have a valid in-state driver’s license, 2+ years of experience as an automotive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive technical training preferred (factory training/classes).
• Attention to detail and strong organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, per dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs when authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and provide recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of tools not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools.
• Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
