Baker Chevrolet of Allegan in Allegan, MI is seeking an Automotive Service Technician. We are hiring 2 qualified candidates for a full-time role with top pay. A steady flow of customer pay and internal work helps maintain hours per week and hours per RO.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications are ideal but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the dealership.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components & systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors so that customers can be informed of any additional services needed.
• Providing an estimate of time needed for current repair or any additional repairs needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty as outlined in manufacturers’ specifications and requirements
