Job summary

Hiley Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Texas. You will perform repairs, run diagnostic tests, and ensure services meet dealership standards with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• A-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to operate diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
