Job summary

Healey Brothers is seeking a Certified Service Technician for its WS Healey Chevrolet location in New Hampton, NY. The ideal candidate has a strong technician background with ASE certification preferred and GM experience prioritized.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems and handling repair orders. As part of a family-friendly culture, we emphasize quality service, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance within the automotive group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred.
• Previous dealership experience preferred.
• B level qualifications: Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
