Select Phyiscal Therapy in Middletown, PA is seeking a certified athletic trainer (ATC) for PRN coverage with flexible hours to support contracted schools, including Penn State Harrisburg. You will design rehab programs, deliver athletic training services, and coordinate access to healthcare for student athletes while building a nationwide support network.

• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.

Type Of Employment: PerDiem/PRN

Schedule: Hours vary as needed

Compensation:$35.00 - $50.00, hourly, based on years of experience

Select Phyiscal Therapyis seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their student athletes. This position will be supporting Penn State Harrisburg. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

• Master's degree
