Job summary

FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS in Illinois is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide safe, effective musculoskeletal care in collaboration with clinical and nonclinical teams. The pay rate starts at $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a Bachelor's degree in athletic training is required.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, assisting providers, documenting in EMR, coordinating appointments, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state where services are provided; licensure commonly required for Nebraska & Iowa.
• National Certification by NATA BOC (Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs and medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations, injections, and procedures.
• Prepare injections, treatments, and orders as directed by licensed providers.
• Prepare specimens for external lab testing.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, pre/post-surgery, medications, and self-care.
