Qualifications

  • Certified Athletic Trainer with BOC certification and NC licensure eligibility.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience across settings.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Comfort with using technology as part of care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and athlete-first mindset.
  • No travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical evaluations and movement assessments to guide personalized care.
  • Deliver hands-on care including cupping, IASTM, stretching, joint mobilizations, and dry needling (as eligible).
  • Guide members in recovery tools and strategies.
  • Create customized home exercise programs for prevention and return to activity.
  • Help members build sustainable lifestyle habits.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, high-energy Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a passion for hands-on care to join our team. You’ll have the opportunity to use your full clinical scope and expertise to support a broad spectrum of everyday athletes.

Key Clinical Responsibilities
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Perform physical evaluations and movement assessments to guide personalized care.
  • Manual Therapy: Deliver hands-on care using cupping, IASTM, stretching, joint mobilizations, and dry needling. Dry needling certification can be completed after you join the team.
  • Recovery Strategies: Guide members in the use of recovery tools based on their goals.
  • Home Exercise Planning: Create customized programs to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, return to activity, and long-term movement health.
  • Lifestyle Planning: Help members build sustainable habits that complement their clinical care.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certification: Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer required.
  • Licensure: Eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in North Carolina.
  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience; experience across a variety of settings is welcome.
  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Technology: Comfortable using technology as part of the care experience.
  • Relationship Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to educate, motivate, and build trust with members.
  • Mindset: An athlete-first approach with a passion for expanding opportunities for athletic trainers to deliver care in emerging settings.
  • Travel Requirements: None
  • Annual Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 per year
  • Incentive Compensation: Eligible for performance-based compensation
