Job summary

Paxon Energy and Infrastructure LLC is seeking a Certified Arborist to audit vegetation management work and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. The role involves coordinating with property owners and Client Representatives, and may require emergency response and rapid deployment to job sites across California.

Qualified candidates will have ISA/ASCA certification, relevant licensing, and at least two years of vegetation management experience for utility rights of way,

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US and willing to travel
• Certified Arborist through ISA, ASCA or Certified/ Degreed Forester
• Licensed/Registered/Certified in Vegetation Management, Forestry, or Arboriculture
• Two years’ experience in vegetation management for utility rights of way
• Excellent verbal and written communication; attention to detail
• Familiar with vegetation management practices, client requirements, and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Audit ongoing and completed vegetation management work in the field for compliance with standards.
• Obtain permission from property owners before vegetation work; document and report when not possible.
• Notify Client’s Representative in writing when permission or permits cannot be obtained.
• Supervise tree replacement and planting to ensure site-appropriate species and ISA-compliant techniques.
• Be prepared to perform emergency or storm-related tree work within 24 hours of notification.
