Job description

At the heart of product innovation and development, our Systems Engineering Department transforms market demands into safe, certifiable, and competitive solutions and architectures. By collaborating closely with software, hardware, safety, and certification teams, we ensure every product meets the highest standards while adapting to fast-evolving market needs. Our mission is to enable seamless human-robot collaboration and deliver solutions that are safe, compliant, and ready for the future. Join us to shape the next generation of human-robot systems by owning system-level requirements, integration, and alignment, with architectural responsibilities as needed. If you thrive in cross-functional teamwork and technical excellence, you’ll find extraordinary opportunities with us.

Your Mission and Challenges
  • Case Builder: Coordinate and build the end-to-end certification case across all target markets (EU, North America, China), managing collection and traceability of all certification-relevant artifacts.

  • Market Access: Drive certification timelines, milestones, and resource coordination across multiple concurrent certification campaigns (industrial arms, cobots, humanoid platforms).

  • Technical Interface: Act as the primary point of contact between internal engineering teams and external certification bodies (TÜV, UL, SGS), notified bodies, and test laboratories.

  • Readiness & Compliance: Organize certification readiness reviews, gap analyses, and pre-audits; track requirements traceability from standards to design evidence and drive non-conformity resolution.

  • Workflow Master: Establish and continuously improve certification workflows, artifact templates, and tracking tools to increase efficiency and ensure auditability across product lines. Detail-oriented and systematic, with a strong sense for completeness and auditability of technical documentation.

What We Can Look Forward To
  • Experience: 3+ years in product certification, regulatory compliance, or conformity assessment in machinery, robotics, or complex electromechanical systems.

  • Standards Knowledge: Solid knowledge of relevant regulation and standards including EU - Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, ISO 13849, ISO 10218, IEC 61508, EMC/LVD/RED directives, US - ANSI/RIA R15.06, UL 1740, UL 3300, NFPA 79, FCC Part 15, and China - GB standards, CCC.

  • Global Markets: Working knowledge of US (UL, NRTL, ANSI), China (CCC/CQC, GB), and international market-access pathways; experience interfacing with notified bodies and test labs.

  • Tools & Traceability: Proficiency in requirements traceability and documentation management (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, Jama, Confluence); detail-oriented systematic approach to artifact management.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent organizational skills and cross-team communication; able to translate certification requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
