Greenbriar Healthcare Center, part of CommuniCare Health, is seeking an Activities Director to lead our activities team and enrich residents’ lives. The role requires a proactive leader who can plan, coordinate, and evaluate diverse programs aligned with resident interests and rights.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation or a 90-hour course plus prior management experience, and an active driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Prior management, supervisory, or leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate diversified resident-centered activities.
• Involve residents in planning individualized activities; advocate for their needs and rights.
• Participate in meetings: resident/family council, department heads, and others as required.
• Maintain records and reports related to activities.
• May participate in fundraising events.
• Promote relationships with community individuals, businesses, and organizations through outings and volunteer-led activities.
