Job summary

Care New England Health System is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and maintaining inventory of medications. The role supports daily operations, patient records, labeling and QA processes within the Infusion Center.

The ideal candidate has a hospital-based training program or pharmacy experience, CPHT certification, RI Tech II license, and comfort with computers, with flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with experience in pharmacy and familiarity with drug usage, or completion of a hospital-based training program leading to certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must be certified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board with the CPHT certification and licensed through the RI Board of Pharmacy as a Tech II.
• Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights as well as available every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Experience with computers, good interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English.
