Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate cardiovascular care in the Cath Lab. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires a TX RN license, current CPR, and CCRN or RN-BC certification, with ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 6 months. A BSN is required, and at least three years in Cath Lab is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Cath Lab required.
• Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas required.
• Current CPR training required.
• Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (RN-BC) or Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) required.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of being in the department.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of age-appropriate professional nursing services through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
