Three Rivers Construction Alliance in Addison, IL is seeking a Ceramic Tile Finisher for an apprenticeship program. Apprenticeship lasts two years, with on-the-job training five days a week and required classroom sessions monthly.
Duties include grouting, cleaning, mixing mortars, unloading materials, covering floors, and removing waste related to tile installation. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass aptitude, oral interview, and drug tests.

Ceramic tile finishers are responsible for all grouting cleaning and handling of all ceramic tile and/or other materials that are to be installed by ceramic tile layers. They are also responsible for mixing all mortars used in the installation of ceramic tile. Other duties include unloading materials, covering finished floors and the cleaning and removal of all waste and materials used in connection with the installation of ceramic tile.
0 to 500 hours of on-the-job training: 50% of journey workers wage
501 to 1000 hours of on-the-job training: 60% of journey workers wage
1001 to 1500 hours of on-the-job training: 65% of journey workers wage
1501 to 2000 hours of on-the-job training: 70% of journey workers wage
2001 to 2500 hours of on-the-job training: 75% of journey workers wage
2501 to 3000 hours of on-the-job training: 80% of journey workers wage

Previous construction experience could be beneficial but is not necessary for acceptance.
