The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. This position requires effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage a fast paced environment and work collaboratively within a team. Must have a reliable source of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assisting them with pottery painting selections and techniques
• Providing excellent customer service to customers as they paint (check on them, provide tips, etc)
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintaining studio cleanliness and organizing inventory
• Answering phones and calling customers when necessary
• Glazing/firing pieces (will be trained)
• Shifts are both on weekdays and weekends, but all applicants should have some weekday availability and full availability on weekends.
• We schedule each team member with the # of hours/shifts they request, and we accommodate student's school schedules as well.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks are essential.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and services is highly valued.
