Job summary

HarbisonWalker International’s Pryor Plant in Oklahoma is seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician to support safe ceramic fiber production, forming, finishing, and packaging. You will operate presses and equipment, verify quality, and move materials through the line with attention to safety.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, potential raises, and performance bonuses. Prior forklift and basic OSHA knowledge are valued, with on-the-job training provided to ensure first‑rate results.

Qualifications

• Must pass an aptitude test.
• Some manufacturing experience helpful.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic safety/OSHA standards.
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Two to four years of previous machine operating or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and observing manufacturing process to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards; own Quality Control compliance.
• Operate ceramic fiber production equipment, including fiberizing, forming, needling, and cutting systems.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, density, thickness, and weight to meet specifications.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and document production and quality data accurately.
• Handle raw materials and finished products following safety and handling procedures.
• Promote safety and maintain a safe work environment and drive a strong safety culture.
• Analyze equipment operations, performance, and problems and secure resources to resolve issues quickly.
