Job summary

Vistal, an employee-owned enterprise, is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to work directly with the CEO. You will identify, evaluate, and advance acquisition opportunities that create long-term value for current and future employee-owners.

You’ll participate in every stage of the acquisition process—from market mapping and target identification to owner outreach, due diligence, structuring, and integration planning. Expect interaction with founders, lenders, and the Board.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or similar transaction-intensive environment.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Intellectual curiosity, initiative, sound judgement, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a proprietary acquisition pipeline.
• Identify and evaluate targets across engineering and infrastructure markets.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and transaction scenarios.
• Prepare materials for executives, investment committee, and Board.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams.
• Support negotiation, structuring, and closing activities.
• Translate acquisitions into long-term value creation for employee owners.
