Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead day‑to‑day operations, staff development and clinical quality across inpatient and ambulatory programs. The CEO will ensure regulatory compliance, manage finances, expand referral networks and maintain patient‑centered care in a for‑profit PHP/SUD setting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), executive‑level behavioral health experience, and ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Currently working as a behavioral executive (Executive/Director) of a SUD‑focused PHP or treatment facility.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
• Working knowledge of operations and financial management and marketing methods.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment and culture aligned with the organization's mission, vision and values.
• Oversee operations of clinical and non‑clinical departments to drive patient care outcomes.
• Ensure facility quality metrics meet accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
• Determine staffing needs and oversee hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of all clinical staff.
• Supervise development of comprehensive care and treatment programs.
• Develop relationships with local industry, government and health care providers.
• Ensure timely submission of month‑end financial and operational reviews and participate in strategic planning.
• Communicate operational circumstances to leadership and stakeholders.
• Achieve budgeted financial objectives and manage revenues and costs.
• Focus on census building and strategic planning.
