Job summary

HPC-Industrial in Deer Park, TX is seeking a Centrifuge Operator to operate decanter centrifuges, belt presses, and related equipment on site. You will unload waste from incoming trucks, follow safety procedures, and complete daily checks to ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires the ability to work in a team, lift up to 50 lbs, and understand English for safety training. At least 6 months of centrifuge operating experience is preferred; valid driver license and TWIC may be required.

Qualifications

  • 6 months plus of centrifuge operating experience preferred.
  • Understand English well enough to comprehend safety training and respond to emergencies.
  • Valid driver license and driving policy compliance when operating company vehicles.
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment operation (e.g., fire extinguishers).
  • TWIC may be required.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Completes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated.
  • Hands‑on experience on operations of Decanter centrifuges, belt presses, filter press and ancillary equipment (pumps, conveyors, etc.).
  • Operation of special equipment, such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • Operate 5K hotsy pressure washers.
  • Assures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements.
  • Assures that all containers are properly secured, i.e. chock blocks, jack stands;
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors

HPC-Industrial is looking for a Centrifuge Operator in Deer Park, TX to join the team. In this position you will operate different types of equipment on site, including heavy equipment, and unload waste from incoming trucks.

Qualifications
  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
  • May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • 6 months plus of centrifuge operating experience preferred;
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Lift 50 lbs.
