Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Centralized Scheduling Clerk to manage labor planning across gaming and non-gaming departments. You will optimize weekly schedules, maintain payroll records, and work with department leaders to align staffing with business needs.

You will become proficient in the Virtual Roster system and Kronos, training teammates and ensuring accurate attendance data. A four-year degree is required along with the ability to obtain a gaming license.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business Analytics or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming license as required by the State Gaming Agency.
• Experience with scheduling software and attendance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Schedule gaming and non-gaming departments to optimize labor and staffing.
• Maintain records of casino employees and attendance, updating as needed.
• Create weekly department schedules aligned to department volume for business needs.
• Track department productivity daily and provide staffing recommendations to leaders.
• Assist in tracking attendance through Virtual Roster system and Kronos.
• Train team members on the scheduling program and processes.
• Apply and manage leave, PTO, LOA, and roster shifts as required.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.

• Create processes to control FTE count throughout the property Optimizing and creating weekly department schedules aligning labor to department volume for business needs.
• Track department productivity daily and make staffing recommendations to department leaders. Observe departments to understand business volumes and staffing needs/opportunities.
• Assists in tracking attendance through Virtual Roster system and Kronos.
• Provide assistance and training to team members on the scheduling program.
• Configure team member specific scheduling rotation patterns inclusive of work and/or leave.
• Apply and manage leave and leave requests, PTO, LOA, etc.
• Manually apply shifts to team members and team members to shifts.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Four (4)- year degree, preferably in Business Analytics, Business Management, Math, Finance or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
