Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to provide excellent patient experiences by assisting pharmacists and pharmacy team members. You will engage customers, support prescription services, and gain experience in pharmacy practices. Ideal candidates are current students in accredited Pharmacy programs, fluent in English, and open to flexible schedules including evenings and weekends. Qualifications

Must be a current student enrolled in an accredited school of Pharmacy program.

Responsibilities

Engages customers and patients with prescription services.
Models and promotes excellent customer service practices.
Assists in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision.
Gains experience in centralized pharmacy services.
Supports prescription entry, filling, and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
Aids in patient care services such as counseling and health screenings.
Reports prescription errors promptly.
Completes assigned tasks and maintains professional relationships.
