Job summary

Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator / Transport Assistant to join our team. This full-time role ensures medical supplies are stocked and residents are transported safely to appointments, supporting both resident care and facility operations.

The position requires a RI CNA license, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills. You will organize the central supply area, track orders, and collaborate with nursing staff to meet daily needs while

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island CNA license required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push and pull boxes, supplies and equipment.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of medical and nursing supplies and keep nursing units stocked.
• Place and track weekly supply orders and monitor inventory to prevent shortages.
• Organize central supply area for accessibility and efficiency.
• Communicate with nursing staff and other departments about supply needs.
• Assist with transporting and accompanying residents to appointments as needed.
• Lift, push and pull supply boxes and equipment as necessary for stocking and inventory.
• Maintain records and documentation related to supplies and transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
