Pay for this position is $18.77/hour. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Central Service Tech Assistant is responsible for performing decontamination, sterilization, maintaining required documentation, assembling case carts, and maintaining inventories using recommended standards of the Michigan Department of Public Health (MDPH), the Joint Commission, Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), and the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM). The surgical services Central Service Tech Assistant works under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care and the Surgical Services Coordinator.
