Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is looking for a Certified Central Sterile Service Technician II for a full-time weekend-day shift. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment used in patient care.

You will operate sterilization equipment, inspect gear for defects, and report issues as needed. CRCST certification and HSD/GED are required, with 1 year CSS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• CRCST certification required.
• 1 year CSS/central sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and prepare instruments and supplies.
• Operate sterilization equipment according to procedures.
