Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to join the sterile processing team. The successful candidate will ensure proper decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments, while maintaining inventory and timely delivery of sterile sets for operative cases.

Responsibilities include collaboration with Perioperative staff, adherence to standards, and ensuring efficient workflow with a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech program or CST certification preferred.
• In lieu of CST certificate, 3 years Central Sterile experience required.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech Required or
• In Lieu of CST Certificate, 3 years of Central Sterile experience Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of Central Sterile experience Required or
• No experience required if incumbent has a Central Sterile Tech certification Required

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• CCST - Certified Central Service Technician Preferred or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
