Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires H.S. diploma or GED.
• Central Sterile Tech certification preferred.
• 3 years Central Sterile experience required if CST not held.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing to provide sterile instrument sets and case carts in a timely manner.
• Supports consistent workflow and delivers superior customer service.
