Perform a wide range of duties to facilitate the operation Central Sterile and Surgery Department including assembling and sterilizing instruments/trays, peel packing extra procedural instruments, operation of sterilizing equipment and case cart module preparation. Perform scheduled pick-ups of all Instrument trays and patient care equipment, cleans, inspects, assembles, and sanitizes all soiled instruments. Cleans and decontaminates all case carts and patient equipment, including all stretchers and wheel chairs. This position requires certification as a Central Sterile Tech.
