Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification through IAHCSMM or equivalent required within 18 months of employment.
• One to three years as a Central Sterile Supply technician preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes reusable supplies and equipment.
• Ensures decontamination through cleaning and terminal sterilization per guidelines.
• Assists supervisor with daily departmental activities and orientating new associates.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and protects patient and staff data.
