Position Summary:

We are seeking a Central Service Technician for a full-time, evening shift position in the NSG-Operating Room, Monday through Friday. The role involves decontamination, assembly, high-level disinfection, sterilization of surgical instruments, inventory management, and customer service duties.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Surgical Instrument Management and Logistics
2. Decontamination of Instruments and Devices
3. High-Level Disinfection of Instruments and Devices
4. Crash Cart Management
5. Sterilization (Steam and Low Temperature)
6. Quality Assurance and Documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certification from CBSPD or HSPA (Certified or Registered Central Service Technician) is preferred; provisional certification is acceptable with 400 hours of on-hands training required before expiration.

Additional Requirements:

Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are essential.
