Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Central Service Dispatcher to ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment across Sunbelt stores, complying with company and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Customer Service & Dispatch training a plus.
• Familiar with the applications of construction equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch Road Mechanics to service equipment.
• Create and monitor road mechanics' schedules.
• Create and monitor equipment receipt and maintenance schedules.
• Review daily and weekly driver logs.
• Perform daily truck inspections.
• Work closely with other store locations to meet customers' equipment needs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally to resolve them.
• Report problems promptly and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide feedback to Region or District PCs regarding equipment delivery and receipt.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Central Service Dispatcher

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Central Service Dispatcher. As a Central Service Dispatcher, you will ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers and other Sunbelt stores in accordance with company and DOT standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

Assist Central Service Manager in the following:

• Coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of Road Mechanics so they can efficiently service equipment
• Creating and monitor road mechanic’s schedules.
• Creating and monitor receipt and maintenance schedules for company equipment.
• Review daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards.
• Perform daily truck inspections in accordance with company and DOT standards.
• Work closely with other store locations in order to assist them in meeting their customer’s equipment needs.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner in order to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of the customer and Sunbelt Rentals.
• Report problems to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow-up to ensure problem resolution
• Provide adequate feedback to the Region or District PC’s regarding the timely delivery and receipt of equipment.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Education
• Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Customer Service & Dispatch training a plus
• At least two years prior knowledge of the applications of various construction/industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of the delivery area.
• Able to effectively communicate.
• Lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. Sit or stand for long periods of time

Base Pay Range: $61,934.00 - 85,159.80
