Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a central pipeline recruiting for AWS SDE roles across domains such as embedded systems, AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure. This requisition covers multiple teams and will consider current and future openings.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable code, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and participate in architecture reviews.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
3+ years of building complex software systems experience
2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Implement complex software solutions that meet business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
Participate in architecture and design reviews to provide technical guidance
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture
