LOCATION: REMOTE position aligned to the Central Region States of the USA

The Central Region Healthcare Provider Network Lead Analyst is a key member of the Network Development and Competitive Insights Team within Network Operations and Provider Contracting, reporting to the Northeast Regional Network Access Lead.

This role involves leading regional product-specific projects and components of larger national initiatives for the Northeast and Central regions. Responsibilities include managing the analyst team, reviewing recruitment projects, and identifying proactive recruitment opportunities. The role also involves evaluating project objectives, system requirements, developing procedures, and ensuring compliance with state contracting guidelines. The Lead may direct teams of business matrix partners to achieve project goals.

Additional responsibilities include managing hospital/large group/provider termination processes, preparing competitive network analyses, and supporting various regional initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage training for new and existing analysts, including creating and maintaining workflows and training documentation.
  2. Identify and manage recruitment projects, including filling network gaps, compliance filings, and regional access builds. Coordinate with matrix partners and report project statuses.
  3. Support analysis to map recruitment efforts for replacing Third Party Vendors and Alliance Partners.
  4. Track and manage TPV conversions and Alliance replacements, working with Market Deployment Managers and Contracting.
  5. Support the Network Access Lead and attend meetings as needed.
  6. Review recruitment datasets, coordinate with contracting and provider services, and approve recruitment universes and contracts.
  7. Manage recruitment tracking tools, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
  8. Partner with contracting and sales to review non-participating providers.
  9. Lead market research on competitors, regulatory changes, and market developments.
  10. Lead termination management meetings, coordinate reporting, and create network change alerts.
  11. Develop expertise in assigned states and segments, supporting termination, recruitment, and analysis activities.
  12. Collaborate across regions and nationally to ensure project consistency.
  13. Handle special projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of Network Operations Contracting experience.
  • 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience with Cigna systems.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, WebEx, OneNote, PowerPoint.
  • Strong Excel skills; Access skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of hospital, managed care, and provider business models.
  • Understanding of market nuances and network constructs.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

If working from home, internet must be broadband with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds.

Salary range: $69,600 - $116,000 annually, depending on experience and location. The role is eligible for an annual bonus.
