Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is seeking a Central Processing Technician to support sterile processing and surgical services. You will handle cleaning, preparation, sterilization, storage and use of surgical items, and contribute to safe patient care.

The role requires certification eligibility, at least one year of Central Processing experience, and ongoing maintenance of certification; you will uphold our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

Qualifications

• Be able to pass the certification exam from an accredited school for Central Processing Technicians.
• Minimum of one year experience in Central Processing.
• Certification must be maintained according to the certifying association’s requirements
