Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems.
• Experience using HVAC/Temperature controls.
• Experience with Energy Management Systems.
• Computer operations experience.
• OSHA Basic certification.
• NFPA70E certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel 0–5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, monitor, and repair utilities and related central plant equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests for hospitals, clinics, and supporting facilities.
• Maintain the central plant in good, clean working condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and schedule and complete corrective maintenance.
• Document all activities and maintenance.
• Answer the phone properly and resolve requests using the proper work order form.
• Monitor and operate power plant equipment by visually inspecting and adjusting equipment for maximum efficiency.
• Troubleshoot engineering equipment and systems according to manufacturers' maintenance and operating parameters.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain the Energy Management System by adjusting heating/cooling schedules to building loads.
• Perform building rounds and equipment inspections; record round sheet data and report problems to the supervisor.
