Job summary

States Industries Llc in Eugene, OR is seeking a Putty Line Operator to support production goals with a focus on safety and quality. You will operate putty lines, load and saw materials with Auto and Manual Saws, and ensure work meets States Industries quality standards.

You will enter production data into the MRP system, assist in 5S/Kaizen activities, and support other panels when needed. A TWI certification and forklift experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and supervisory abilities.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• TWI certification required.
• Ability to read schedules and charts.
• Safety rules and manuals reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow safety rules and LOTO procedures.
• Operate Auto Saw and Manual Saw.
• Sawn material to quality standards set by States Industries.
• Enter production data into MRP system and verify notes.
• Maintain general housekeeping and organize tasks.
• Support 5S and Kaizen programs.
• Complete JSA’s and certifications for Putty, Edgeplug and Blank stall patch.
• Assist in other work centers (Central, SCP, Dryers) as needed.
• Maintain attendance per Employee Handbook.
