Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Central Investigator to direct and support Organized Retail Fraud investigations within a defined area. You will collaborate with IT, Internal Audit and various store partners to detect theft, develop evidence, and coordinate with law enforcement to ensure successful prosecutions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, case management, training and cross-functional teamwork to reduce theft exposure and protect company assets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of Loss Prevention / Asset Protection investigative experience.
• Competent in the use of retail CCTV systems.
• Loss Prevention Investigative Interview Training.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Leveraging store systems and data query models to isolate theft and fraud indicators.
• Execute CCTV Alerts and SSC generated alerts to identify internal and external theft; coordinate with HR and partners.
• Packaging and building cases; update case management and provide weekly updates to manager on caseload.
• Gathers intelligence and collaborates with Law Enforcement on Serious Incidents (SIRs).
