Job summary

Security Solutions of America (SSA) is seeking Security Officers to join our Central Florida team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate is 18+ years old, a U.S. citizen, neat in appearance, and able to pass drug screening and a background check.

A Florida Class D License and reliable transportation are required. Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, patrolling premises, responding to alarms, and writing clear incident reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Neat appearance and professional demeanor.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Possess a Florida Class D License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
