Job summary

9005 CVS Pharmacy, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the Central Fill team in a full-time, on-site role. You will fill prescriptions safely and accurately, operate automatic dispensing systems, and help maintain inventory and workflow.

You will work closely with pharmacists, shipping vendors, and other teammates, ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies while developing clinical and technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state; check your state Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.
• Preferred: previous Pharmacy Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill patient prescriptions safely, accurately, and timely.
• Manage and maintain automatic dispensing systems.
• Ensure inventory is adequate and workflow is compliant with regulations.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Collaborate with shipping vendors and pharmacists to fulfill orders.
• Balance quality and efficiency while meeting workflow goals.
• Seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
