Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Centerless Grind Operator to set up and run centerless grinding machines, ensuring parts meet specified tolerances.

The role emphasizes accurate measurement with calipers and micrometers, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe work area under a Production Supervisor. This is a temp-to-hire position with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and a technical school certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures; communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines following router specifications.
• Select and place abrasive grind wheel and adjust as needed.
• Meet quality and production targets by inspecting parts for dimensions and specs.
• Use calipers, micrometers and other gauges to verify quality.
• Follow SPC and job clock systems and company policies.
