Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP seeks a hands-on supervisor to oversee staff across production areas in Tallahassee. You will manage performance, schedule shifts and drive inventory control while ensuring donor concerns are addressed and non-conforming events are analyzed.

You will perform tasks in Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing, fostering teamwork and clear communication. The role requires flexibility and physical endurance for full shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Frequent bending, walking, standing for full shifts, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

About the role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

How you will contribute

• You will oversee employee performance and scheduling
• You will lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts
• You will work with donors to resolve concerns
• You will analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
• You will perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
• You will foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts

What you bring to Takeda

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $21.60 - $29.70
