Job summary

Food Lion in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Center Store Inventory Clerk responsible for shelf inventory management and maintaining in-stock levels for customers. You will collaborate with store and department leadership to plan for events and merchandising.

Responsibilities include ordering and maintaining Center Store stock via CAO, coaching associates to grow sales and reduce shrink, coordinating replenishment, and sustaining accurate shelf allocations to support a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use CAO and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain the Center Store product level through CAO.
• Train, coach, and influence associates to grow sales and reduce shrink.
• Partner with schedule writers to ensure replenishment activities are scheduled.
• Prioritize daily workload to ensure variety and selection is available.
• Maintain in-stock service levels across Grocery, HBC, and DSD.
• Assist with Center Store inventory and compliance with policies.
