Job summary

Hannaford in Glens Falls, NY, seeks an Assistant Center Store Manager to cover the Store Manager in their absence and to lead Center Store operations to meet sales goals. You will build strong relations with associates and customers, promoting Hannaford strategy and maintaining clear communications with the department team.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong store operations knowledge, leadership and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred; strong store operations knowledge.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; leadership ability.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and use technical requirements.
• Must be able to achieve Food Safety Manager accreditation within 90 days.
• Able to meet physical requirements and work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cover Assistant Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Manage Center Store associates and operations to meet financial and sales goals.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote Hannaford culture.
• Maintain clear communications with Center Store staff and management.
