Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is seeking a Center Store Manager to lead operations and merchandising for the Center Store department. You will drive in-store performance, inventory management, pricing, and customer satisfaction while overseeing back room activities and shelving standards.

You will lead a team of Center Store associates, train staff, and foster a culture aligned with our mission of great value and service. Prior retail leadership and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree required or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or job experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours and shifts.
• Physical: standing and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Center Store Manager oversees Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and shelving and pricing).
• Provides leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture aligned with company mission and winning behaviors.
• Trains and develops associates to enable their success and career progression.
• Manages department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.
