Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Dracut, MA is seeking a Center Store Supervisor to oversee Center Store associates in the absence of the Center Store Manager. You will support daily operations, supervise tasks, and uphold service excellence for customers.

You will help drive sales through merchandising, maintain schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across the department.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Associate must have effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team, demonstrated.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements including forklift and power jack training.
• Associate must meet minimum age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all duties and responsibilities of the Center store associates in the absence of Center Store Manager.
• Assist in management of Center Store operations to meet financial and sales goals.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of Hannaford Strategy.
• Lead Center store associates and ensure high standards of department appearance, safety, and product placement.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet production and customer service standards.
