Job summary

Schnucks is hiring a center store clerk in Missouri to provide friendly, courteous customer service and to maintain stock, shelves, and displays across Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery areas.

The role includes processing warehouse shipments, reading shelf tags, and adhering to safety guidelines. Training will be provided at store level, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees).
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Sort damaged product for credit
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
• Maintain company productivity standards
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
• Training will be provided at store level.
