Job summary

Schnuck Markets, Inc. is seeking a center store clerk to join our team. You will provide friendly customer service, stock and rotate merchandise across Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery departments, and help maintain clean, organized shelves and displays.

Training is provided at store level. The role requires regular attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a cold environment, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular attendance is required and essential.
• Experience in grocery or retail stocking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Sort damaged product for credit.
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.
• Maintain company productivity standards.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
