Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Center Store Associate for our Williamston, Michigan location. The role involves stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation to meet guest experience standards.

You will assist in receiving and stocking, keep shelves updated, and ensure product availability while following safety and food safety guidelines. Prior retail experience and a basic ability to read and write are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
