Job summary

SpartanNash in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a store associate to help display and stock products and support a positive guest experience. You will assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise in the back room, while rotating stock and maintaining well-stocked departments on the shop floor.

You will follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines, stay detail oriented, and be prepared to take on tasks in other departments as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Detail oriented and accurate in handling stock and shelf displays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow PPE, safety guidelines and food safety expectations.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer needs.
