Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Social Development Department in a residential student environment in Harvard, MA. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities, and ensure safety and quality of programs outside class hours.
The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree preferred and at least one year of youth program management experience. A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
Responsible to provide students with a safe and structured living environment that fosters student retention, satisfaction, achievement and success. Oversees the daily management of social development programs and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and problems. Manages non-class hours residential living environment and ensures quality recreational and evening programming to enhance students independent living and employability skills. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
Supervises and manages the program and activities of the Social Development Department when on duty. May be assigned Acting Social Development Director in Director’s absence.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school or preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in program management and direction with a substantial experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet the Company insurability requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
